Heathcliff, adopted by the late Mr Earnshaw, is constantly bullied by his cruel new brother, Hindley. Feeling ostracised by his family, Heathcliff leaves Wuthering Heights. Years later, he returns as a wealthy gentleman, bent on revenge. When his proposal to a young woman is turned down, a burning passion takes hold of Heathcliff a vengeance that is destined to ruin them all.
